Caldea is anticipating a slight increase in the number of visitors during Easter.

Andorra’s thermal spa expects to welcome approximately 11,800 visitors this Easter, a slightly higher number than last year.
During the holidays, and to carry on the 25th anniversary celebrations, Caldea will prepare a packed programme of activities.

Escaldes-Engordany, Thursday the 11th of April 2019 – As the end of the winter season draws near, the good weather conditions that led to the recent snowfall have made Andorra the top holiday destination for this Easter. As a result of this advantageous situation, Caldea, Andorra’s thermal spa, is anticipating a slight increase in visitors compared to last year. From the 18th to the 22nd of April, Andorra’s thermal spa, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, expects to welcome approximately 11,800 visitors – a slightly higher number than during the same period last year. The rate of reservations being made for this week is accelerating, and, compared to last winter, the thermal spa predicts an improvement both in overall attendance from December to April and also in terms of profits.

SHOWS AND ACTIVITIES

Throughout Easter, as a farewell to the winter season and to continue the 25th anniversary celebrations, the thermal spa will put on a programme of activities aimed at everyone who visits the centre.
From Saturday the 13th to Saturday the 20th of April, Caldea will once again be surprising all of its visitors with the Aküa night show. This extravaganza combines music, video and the interplay of light and water to create an atmosphere of sensations that immerses spectators while they enjoy their stay in Thermoludic. And this Easter, we will also be collaborating with the Iron Skulls Co, a group of contemporary dancers and breakdancers.

Good Friday and Holy Saturday will be the key days on which the activities will be enhanced. Visitors will be able to watch live performances from Deivas, an urban dance group from Andorra’s TC Escola de Dansa who were semi-finalists on Telecinco’s 2019 Got Talent programme. They will be performing in the afternoon on Thursday and Friday in Thermoludic, Caldea’s largest spa. Zulandir, a group of stilt walkers who will fill the spa with light and dance, will also be thrilling the crowd on both of these afternoons. Furthermore, the audience will also be able to enjoy performances from a pair of acrobats who happen to be the world acrosport champions. All the artists will perform in Caldea as well as the Illa Carlemany shopping centre, where the brand will carry out a promotional activity involving a prize roulette that will award discounts and instant prizes.

On Saturday the 20th of April only, Javi Lin and his electric violin will return to Andorra courtesy of Caldea to perform in Illa Carlemany at 13:00 and 18:00.
