4 plans that can only be experienced during Easter in Andorra

Easter has played hard to get this year and it’s arriving late, very late… But that’s no reason not to plan a getaway so you can enjoy the holidays by relaxing and having fun. Despite the fact that we’re talking about the end of April, we were very fortunate that the snow came at the start of the month, ensuring we would enjoy a fantastic end to the ski season. And there’s so much more to mention, do you want to discover it with us?

Bid farewell to your favourite winter sport

It’s got to be now or… you’ll have to wait until next season! Make the most of this opportunity to squeeze in some final runs on your favourite pistes. The season will end in the Grandvalira and Vallnord ski resorts on 22 April, giving you the opportunity to go skiing one last time over the Easter holidays. Sunshine, snow, relaxing on terraces, music, a great atmosphere… all the ingredients for a perfect weekend, which can be complemented with a visit to Caldea.

CALDEA+ GRANDVALIRA

A high-altitude dinner under the moonlight

This year, during Easter, you can enjoy nights under a spectacular full moon. If you’ve never experienced our snow-covered mountains at night, we suggest you do so now. You can choose a short hike in snowshoes, ski touring or riding in a snowcat (a piste grooming machine) to get to one of the resorts’ high-altitude restaurants and enjoy a fantastic dinner in the heart of the mountains. Once dinner comes to an end, the choice is yours! You can come back down by practising your favourite sport under the moonlight, or you can travel down the mountain in a piste grooming machine and make the most of this opportunity to experience the mountain in a unique way.

Bubbles under the light of the “pink moon”

If your thing is thermal water, keep a night free to visit Caldea. In our outdoor pools and Jacuzzis, you’ll have the chance to enjoy some unique moments with the added bonus of being under the light of the full moon. An interesting fact is that this April full moon is known as the “Spring Full Moon”, “Paschal Full Moon” or “Pink Moon” (not because the moon turns this colour, but because the Native Americans named the full moons in early spring after the wildflowers known as Phlox, which bloom at this time of the year).

NIGHT ADMISSION CALDEA

Entertainment and a night show in Caldea

At Caldea, we go all out at Easter to ensure that, as well as enjoying our thermal waters, you will be captivated by a varied selection of shows and entertainment. On 19 and 20 April, from the early afternoon right through until Thermoludic closes, we aim to surprise you with performances from the dance group Deivas, the Zulandir stilt walkers, the world champion pole duo Xevi & Eli, and the electric violin of Javi Lin. And the night will culminate with Aküa; you can see the extended version of our night show from 13 to 20 April at 21:40 and complete the experience with dinner in our Mediterranean restaurant
