Our waters

Disinfection with UV light and chlorine

Disinfection by UV light extends the spectrum of effectiveness considerably against other viruses. UV light has the ability to destroy the genome (DNA/RNA) of viruses, bacteria and fungi, including coronaviruses. Standard disinfectants are effective against SARS-CoV-2, but we add UV light as an extra level of protection.

Constant water control

We test the water parameters automatically and take constant measurements. This automatic system controls the chlorine and PH levels of the water and injects the necessary amount of both chlorine and PH regulator, so that the parameters are correct for health, respecting the official regulations and always guaranteeing the best water quality.

Permanent recirculation of water

Our water is constantly recirculated through glass filters. This process allows to remove any particles present in the water while applying an ultra-violet disinfection (UVC) that deactivates any bacteria, fungi and viruses present, always taking care to add the amount of chlorine and PH regulator that the law establishes.

Take a bath in peace
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a residual chlorine concentration of ≥0.5 mg/l in the pool water during a minimum of 30 minutes of contact at a pH <8.0 is sufficient to kill enveloped viruses such as coronaviruses. Therefore, an enveloped virus such as Covid-19 would be inactivated even at lower Ct values. The Ct value is the product of the concentration of a disinfectant (e.g. free chlorine) by the contact time with the water being disinfected.

For regulatory reasons and for transparency, we show the results to the users, so that they are fully informed about the quality of the water.
