Who says that the only thing one can do in snow is skiing?<\/p>\n

Just as they do every winter, both Grandvalira and Vallnord offer you a great variety of activities in which you can either enjoy the mountains all together, or leave the children having fun while you enjoy the ski-slopes.<\/p>\n

Below, we give you some ideas which will guarantee you a good day in the snow, as a family.<\/p>\n

Mushing<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

A different, unique ride through the snowy forests of Andorra\u2026 do you fancy it? Either on the country\u2019s eastern or western side, you can discover \u2018mushing\u2019, a sport in which a pack of between 6 and 12 dogs, driven by a \u2018musher\u2019, pull a sledge on which you are lying. Or, if you prefer, you can drive yourselves.<\/p>\n

Motoneige<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

A ride through the snow at full speed! Perhaps, as parents, you will have some doubts about getting onto a snowmobile, especially if your children are very young, but don\u2019t worry! Vallnord proposes a children\u2019s version of this activity, in 10-minute sessions in the Pal-Arinsal sector. It\u2019s a good opportunity for the youngest members of the family to have their first contact with the world of engines.<\/p>\n

In the Pal-Arinsal snow-garden, young beginners and children who want to play in the snow while their parents are skiing in Vallnord can spend a few hours here discovering how nice snow can be. What\u2019s more, while they are there they can meet and play with some of their favourite characters: Pocoyo, Elly, Pato and all of their friends.<\/p>\n

For the first time, Grandvalira will be opening its famous zip-line in the winter season, giving us the opportunity to reach speeds of up to 80 kph, 40 metres above a snow-covered landscape. The trip is 550 metres long, and you can do it alone or in tandem with your children, provided that they weigh more than 20 kg and that your combined weight is not more than 150 kg.<\/p>\n
