Escaldes, May 7, 2020 – Caldea begins to prepare its reopening and today has reactivated the hygiene tasks after the preventive closure by COVID-19. The thermal spa of Andorra has always followed the most extreme protocols for the hygiene, cleaning and disinfection of its spaces but, in view of this situation and following the indications of the sanitary authorities, it will intensify the efforts to contain the propagation of the virus and to reopen its doors already facing the summer with total guarantee of security. Therefore, from now on, the frequency of cleaning will be increased and a correct disinfection of all the facilities will be ensured, including the surfaces in frequent contact with people, hands. To this end, all sensitive areas such as accesses and lifts, switchboards, changing rooms and bathrooms, air outlets and public areas will be treated cyclically and triple action disinfectants will be used: bactericide, fungicide and virucide, inoculum for people and the environment. The manoeuvres, which will be carried out by a technical team from Avan\u00e7a, a company specialising in cleaning services for Caldea and Nostra Senyora de Meritxell Hospital in Andorra, will be carried out in all the facilities. When Caldea receives visitors again, the frequency of these tasks will be reinforced daily according to the traffic and occupation of each area and an extreme disinfection will be carried out every night.
