A few weeks ago, we wrote about Caldea Tower<\/a> and its unique architecture. To continue that theme, today we want to talk about In\u00fau and specifically its main indoor lagoon. To mark Caldea\u2019s 25th anniversary, we\u2019d like to explain a little more about its history through the architecture<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00fau: Caldea\u2019s newest spa<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

We opened In\u00fau in 2013, adding a new thermalism concept to Caldea\u2019s offer and enhancing the facilities with the most innovative materials. This spa is aimed at an audience aged 16 and above who are seeking a 360\u00ba experience. Like the rest of the building, it was designed by architect Jean Michel Ruols.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pamukkale: the inspiration for the indoor lagoon<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

When creating In\u00fau\u2019s main space, the architect drew inspiration from the shapes of this breathtaking natural geological formation, devising a perfect combination of architecture and thermal water \u2013 the two major pillars of Caldea.
\nThe famous natural pools of Pamukkale can be found in the Denizli province in Anatolia (Turkey) and have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. The water from the thermal springs emerges at temperatures that vary from 35\u00ba to 100\u00ba and it also shares certain properties with our own water: iron, sulphur and magnesium. Its name means \u201cCotton Castle\u201d as the enormous brilliant-white limestone walls can be seen from far around and resemble huge approaching clouds.
\nYou will recognise the similarity with Pamukkale in In\u00fau\u2019s three lagoons, which form a waterfall. The main differences are that they have been constructed using stainless steel, and they have jets of varying pressures and light displays to make your experience even more relaxing.
