For this reason, treating the water is one of the most important parts of our day-to-day duties and requires a good system to ensure that it\u2019s always in optimal condition.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10px;\"><span style=\"color: #36454f; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.41; margin-bottom: 25px;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">How we treat the thermal water<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">The first thing you need to know is that Caldea\u2019s water <strong>emerges at 65\u00baC and 70\u00baC<\/strong> from various natural springs in Escaldes-Engordany, the parish in which we are located. Before it gets to the pools, Jacuzzis and tubs, it undergoes a variety of processes so you can bathe in it when you come to visit us. First comes <strong>filtration and cooling<\/strong> to bring the temperature down to between 34\u00baC and 37\u00baC. After this initial treatment, we make use of the surplus energy in our heating system, thanks to special heat exchangers made from titanium panels. This means that the thermal water <strong>also helps us to save energy<\/strong>.<br \/>\nBut this is not a process that can be performed just once, it has to be continuous. The water in our facilities is <strong>renewed every 3 or 6 days<\/strong> depending on the season and the requirements at that particular time.<br \/>\nOnce a year, <strong>our spa undergoes a technical closure<\/strong> so the spaces can be refurbished and the lagoons can be completely emptied. In May we tackle Thermoludic, Likids and Origins, and in June In\u00fau gets its turn. Each one takes around 11 or 12 days.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10px;\"><span style=\"color: #36454f; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.41; margin-bottom: 25px;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Caldea\u2019s thermal waters are a rich source<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">As the thermal waters only receive the minimal amount of treatment required for us to use them, they are still <strong>very rich in minerals<\/strong>. Their composition includes: calcium, sodium, magnesium and iron, among others. These minerals are very <strong>beneficial for both the body and the skin<\/strong> due to their analgesic, healing, decongestant and anti-allergenic properties.
