In less than 15 days, Grandvalira will be hosting both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s finals of the Alpine Ski World Cup. A date that fans of skiing and sports in general won\u2019t want to miss!
\nThe event will be held from 11 to 17 March on the pistes of \u00c0liga (El Tarter area), where the downhill competitions will take place between 12 and 15 March, and the legendary Avet (Soldeu area), where the Slalom and Giant Slalom can be seen on 16 and 17 March. After being certified by the FIS in 2007 and 2013 respectively, many significant alpine skiing competitions have been held here, but this is the first year that Andorra has hosted the final of the World Cup.
\nThe resort is just a 30-minute drive from Caldea and there will be stands so spectators can watch the competition in comfort. But if you don\u2019t feel like making the trip, there will be huge screens in the centre of Andorra la Vella so everybody can enjoy the action without travelling to the resort… the atmosphere won\u2019t be quite the same, but it\u2019s a convenient way to see the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Andorran skier who recently claimed the 23rd spot in the world slalom rankings in \u00c5re (Sweden) will also be participating in the team event of the World Cup finals.
\nShe regularly uses the gym facilities in In\u00fau to train and, thanks to the properties of Caldea\u2019s thermal waters, she can also relax and recuperate after big events.
