This cycle tourist event, organised by former professional cyclist Joaquim \u00abPurito\u00bb Rodr\u00edguez Oliver, will follow the layout of a legendary stage from the 2015 Vuelta Ciclista a Espa\u00f1a, considered by many to be the toughest stage in the history of the Spanish tour.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10px;\"><span style=\"color: #36454f; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.41; margin-bottom: 25px;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">A test for all levels<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">La Purito has three different routes, so every road bike lover can take part. <strong>La Purito 1.7<\/strong> is a 28 km initiation route with 1,700 m of positive elevation that runs from Sant Juli\u00e0 to Cortals d&#8217;Encamp, crossing the Comella mountain pass.<br \/>\nMore experienced and physically fit participants can cycle <strong>La Purito 3.5<\/strong>, which has a total length of 80 km and 3,500 m of positive elevation. This year, cyclists will depart from Sant Juli\u00e0 de L\u00f2ria, then head to the Port of La Rabassa, return to Sant Juli\u00e0, climb the Coll de la Gallina, return to Sant Juli\u00e0 again and then head towards Andorra la Vella and the Comella mountain pass in Encamp, before crossing the finishing line in Cortals d&#8217;Encamp.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10px;\"><span style=\"color: #36454f; font-size: 22px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.41; margin-bottom: 25px;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">The star event<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Without a doubt, <strong>La Purito 5.2<\/strong> is the biggest challenge of the day for true cycling enthusiasts. At 145 km with 5,200 m of positive elevation, it will take the participants to the top of the mountain passes of Coll de Beixal\u00eds, Coll d&#8217;Ordino, Alt de la Rabassa, Coll de la Gallina and Alt de la Comella, and will end with a climb of Cortals d&#8217;Encamp which will culminate at the finishing line.
