468 km2 containing 21 cycling climbs, some of which are category 1 and special category, make Andorra an ideal destination for the most discerning cyclists. You can even attempt to emulate a stage from the Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a or a final stage from the Tour de France.

The Volta als Ports, 41 years of history<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The Volta als Ports<\/a>, Andorra’s oldest cyclotourist event, turns 41 this year. On the 1st of July, 3 different routes will be available to make it accessible to the largest possible number of participants: a \u00abmini\u00bb route of 21 km, a short route of 80 km and longer one measuring 111 km (which recreates the route of the Andorran stage of the 2016 Tour).

We won\u2019t pretend that the cycle routes in Andorra aren\u2019t tough. To offset this, you\u2019ll notice that our roads are made from tarmac that is perfect for bicycles and they also have information boards to guide you throughout your journey. And if your fitness doesn\u2019t extend to the big challenges, don\u2019t hesitate to try the electric bicycles instead. They will enable you to ascend any cycling climb with ease, so you can enjoy the unique landscapes and practise your favourite sport.<\/span><\/p>\n
