Spring is the perfect time for a weekend getaway with the family, or to take advantage of the May bank holidays and enjoy the lesser known aspects of the country of the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n

A tour of our history<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

It is still possible today to find evidence of 17th<\/sup> century Andorra\u2019s most important industry: iron. Along the iron route, a path that is just under 4 km long (on a round trip), you can witness a snippet of our little country\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

The itinerary begins with a visit to the Llorts mine, which will give you a rough idea of the working conditions of the time. This first stage of the route is the only time you will have to pay (\u20ac5 for adults and \u20ac2 for children) and book in advance with the Ordino Tourist Office.<\/p>\n

And after the visit, it\u2019s time to follow the \u201ccam\u00ed dels traginers\u201d. Along the hike, during which you will be surrounded by the region\u2019s native wildlife, you will come across various sculptures made from the route\u2019s eponymous material: The Jordino Family<\/em>; Endless<\/em>; The House of Earth and Fire<\/em>; The Iron Carriage and Pick<\/em>; The Iron Man<\/em>; and Earth, Iron, Water and Fire<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We can all learn and have fun together on this hike.<\/p>\n

Horse trails<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Do you want to feel like an authentic horseman crossing the Andorran forests on horseback? Because this is possible too! All over the country you can find horse riding or family parks where you can mount a horse or a mare and take a guided tour of one of the mountain paths that have been prepared for this activity. And don\u2019t forget about the ponies for the little ones!<\/p>\n

Naturlandia<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

If you\u2019re more into adventures and adrenalin, you can\u2019t miss Naturlandia! Archery, Tubing, Buggies, AirTrekk, Zip Lines…. And the star attraction: The Tobotronc, the longest slide in the world. 5 kilometres of curves, excitement and adrenaline!
